Are you looking for an Atlanta flight school?
So how do you go about the job of finding the best Atlanta flight instructor for you? Typically, you look up flight schools in the phone book, check out what’s on the web, go to the airport and talk to a few people. Finally you are sitting in someone’s office, perhaps a professional recruiter or sales person; you try to remember the facts and figures, and then comes the “close.” You may be asked to sign this and that, leave your credit card(s) information, and authorize a large chunk of dollars.
I recall very well jumping through the same hoops many years ago. My name is Pascale Raynier. I am a professional flight instructor, professional pilot, and I have over 5000 hours. (The required minimum is only 250 for someone to teach you to fly!)
When I was in your shoes, many years ago, I was very anxious to make the best decision and I did my homework. I actually visited all the flight schools I could find, all with the same alluring estimates and assertive demands for the money today.”
At least I was luckier than many I have met since who found themselves locked into a bad situation, as I always insisted on paying for each lesson as I went. I didn’t sign up for a “package deal.” (However, this guaranteed me very poor service in scheduling my flights.)
To make a long story short, after several instructors (as each one left me hanging as they quit), I ran out of money before even soloing. This would probably have been the end of the road for me if I had not been rescued by a dedicated professional independent instructor.
And guess what, I soloed in no time, quickly finished my private ticket and went on to professional flying. I know that there are some decent organizations out there, but I also know that many of my students come to me after their disillusioning experiences and after spending lots of money for little in return. We pick up the pieces, work hard together, and get to the actual private pilot’s license.
The good news is that you can save yourself from all these troubles.
There are lots of very competent and dedicated flight instructors and all you need to steer clear of unnecessary hindrances is to find one you can have a good working relationship with. One who cares — about you and about teaching. And preferably not someone teaching under duress for the sake of collecting the hours they need to stop teaching.
You see, many instructors are just “building hours” until they can get on to the next phase of their careers. They are only instructors because they have to be, and as soon as it’s no longer necessary, they’re gone. At the same time, they may have the bare minimum number of hours themselves that “qualify” them to teach others.
At the other end of the spectrum, there really are professional flight instructors who do it because that’s the career they chose. They have thousands and thousands of hours and they have taught hundreds of students to fly. How do you find someone like this? Well, one way is to call me right now at 404-931-4330.
Or keep reading to learn more about me and my philosophy of flight training . . .
When you consider a training organization, remember that all the expensive advertising and fancy promotion, large supporting staff, and skillful registrar are all paid out of your pocket and none of those will be in the cockpit with you.
What matters is your personal flight instructor.
Your success will come from a combination of your own enthusiasm and dedication as well as that of your flight instructor and the quality of your working relationship. So don’t worry about the school, you need a safe, well maintained appropriate training aircraft, a good teacher who cares and you need to be a good student who shows up and studies. That is the simple equation to your success.
My personal track record is a 100% pass on the practical flying test and a 95% score on the written exam. My references are available upon request with the FAA approved flight examiner. I am an independent flight instructor, and no group classes are required. Instruction is always one-on-one and tailored to your specific needs and schedule. Lessons are paid as you go so you are always in control of your own money and where to spend it; financing at $150/month is available with reasonable credit.
If you are looking for a flight instructor, please call me at 404-931-4330 anytime. If I’m not there, leave a message and I’ll call you back as soon as I land.
If you would like to email me, my email address is[email protected]. I check my email every day but not constantly. If you would like to discuss your situation, plans, and goals with regard to flight instriction just give me a call!
Thank you for your interest in learning to fly!

Testimonials from Pascale’s Students:
“I had four different flight instructors from three different flight schools before I finally earned my Private Pilot Certificate. Pascale made all the difference in the world. In my opinion, she is absolutely the best!”
Brad Fallon, Atlanta
“I spent a lot of wasted time and money before I met Pascale with Skyblaze Flight Training; and still didn’t even have my Private Pilot License!!
But she really led the way to my goal. I feel like we did it as a team and I really reaped the benefits from flying with a fantastic instructor. I definitively have her to thank for my confidence in the cockpit. Thanks again!”
George Mastrogiovanni
“I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed my flight training with you. You were very flexible to my schedule, which made my flying a lot less stressful. Your training was very professional, honest and efficient.
I felt like you were working for me to achieve my goal of private pilot. I will recommend you to anyone who may be looking for an instructor.
Thank You Very Much.”
